TRAGODIA SERIES
Tragodia IX
Tragodia IX is covered edge to edge in an overlapping, scale-like texture, closer to bark or dried leaves than to skin. The eye sockets are hollow rather than closed, and a small tuft of dried grass grows from the crown of the head.
Where most of the series treats decay as something that happens to a surface, Tragodia IX treats it as the surface itself. It’s the piece furthest along in the series — not ruin as a recent event, but ruin that has settled into its own permanence.
